From the moment my husband and I set eyes on Oad Street, we knew it was the one. The venue has a timeless elegance—full of sophistication and class. One of the things we loved most was how you could stand at the bar and see right down the entire room. We didn’t want our guests scattered across different spaces, and Oad Street gave us that perfect, open setting where everyone could feel connected. The outdoor space was just as beautiful—peaceful, stylish, and just the right size for what we needed.

In the lead-up to the wedding, we had several meetings with Charley, who was absolutely incredible. She put us completely at ease, helped us with all the finer details, and genuinely made the planning process enjoyable. I trusted her completely and felt so comfortable knowing she was by our side. I knew from the start that we were in safe hands with her.

The whole experience with Oad Street was so personable—even down to the wine tasting. It felt really intimate, and we genuinely felt valued and listened to. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and so much time was given to every single detail of our wedding. Even the setup, which starts the day before, felt calm and unrushed. It’s not like some venues that feel like a conveyor belt of weddings—Oad Street made us feel like our day truly mattered.

On the day itself, Charley and Summer were so attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. Anything we asked for was never too much. It was amazing being greeted by such beautiful ladies with warm, calming energy. They were so thoughtful and present throughout the day that all our guests commented on how lovely the staff were and how stunning the venue looked. Our day was just perfect, and the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing.

We’re now definitely suffering the wedding blues and I keep thinking of any excuse to go back to Oad Street—if only to see Charley and Summer again! Thank you for making our day so special and truly memorable

This day was everything we wanted and dreamed of and more. From start to finish it was perfect.

We absolutely loved the process of planning with Charley as she made it feel so manageable and easy, and managed the process with such expertise. The venue absolutely speaks for its self but the staff elevate it to an even higher level. The attention to detail Summer and Charley put into the day was perfection, from signs, to setting name places, to setting out vases of flowers to candles there is nothing they couldn’t or wouldn’t do. They personalised our day and managed our specific needs, and consistently checked on us.

The day was absolutely seamless, with us simply just having to be there and not have a single thing to worry about. We could not have asked for a more perfect day and this is all down to the absolutely beautiful venue and incredible staff. Charley and Summer are exceptional and looked after us throughout the whole process right up until the last dance.

There is no where else we would have pictured our day. From the moment we viewed the venue we fell in love and immediately decided this would be where we got married.

The planning process with the wedding coordinators was so easy and completely took the stress out of planning a wedding. They were always on hand to help and swiftly replied to my queries and emails. They were also able to recommend suppliers to us that we used for our day. The venue itself is so pretty so we did not use much additional decor but the option is also there to add as much as you want!

The grazing board wedding breakfast was amazing and complimented by all our guests. The day was coordinated to perfection and ran smoothly. We originally wanted an outside ceremony but due to the weather the decision was made on the day to move this inside. The team at Oad Street organised this change and still ensured we got the best out of our day. We were able to fully relax on the day, knowing they were there to coordinate everything for us!

All of our guests commented on how amazing the venue was. We were lucky enough to have lovely weather to get married outside. Summer was the best wedding co ordinator from start to finish so accommodating to make our day perfect.

'We had the most perfect wedding day at a venue that’s always been a special place to us.

The whole day ran so smoothly and so professionally that we didn’t have to worry about anything. The food and drinks were amazing and the service was to such a high standard. All the staff were so accommodating and especially with my 100 year old Grandad. The additional touches they made throughout the day were perfect! Most importantly we were able to embrace and enjoy the day with our loved ones without a single worry.

''Wow what can we say. We had the most magical wedding day and we couldn’t thank Oad Street enough.

Our wedding coordinator Summer was an absolute delight to work with. She made the whole process of wedding planning stress free, and accommodated to our individual needs. She quite literally pulled everything out the bag. Summer delivered on every single one of her promises, in fact exceeded expectations. All of the staff that contributed to our wedding planning made us feel at ease and reassured we would have the best day ever - and we totally did!

We had our wedding breakfast in the main dining hall. All you need wedding styling done an absolute fabulous job of meeting all of our decor visions. Oad Street itself brings timeless elegance - something that really sold the venue to us. The vibe was incredible, everyone was waving their napkins on our entrance and dancing along.

We feel thankful we can revisit the beautiful venue and celebrate on anniversary’s (and all year around) - when we booked the venue a big positive was being able to come back to the place we celebrated our marriage.

‘We got married on 1st May 2022 and had the most beautiful, relaxed and memorable day. We will never be able to thank Oad Street enough for making our day everything we could have ever imagined, plus much more. We knew Oad Street suited our wedding visions perfectly, with the best balance of being beautifully relaxed and intimate yet formal.

Our wedding ceremony took place in our local village church, we then went on to Oad Street to start the celebrations! Oad Street had perfected the welcome drinks & the atmosphere for our guests to arrive and mingle before we joined them after our photos. Guests were asked to find their seats and we entered our wedding breakfast to one of our favourite songs, which had everyone clapping and on their feet! The band started their first set through our main course, which had everyone on their feet and dancing to really get the party going! The food was amazing and reflected us a couple perfectly as we were able to choose each course individually to suit and reflect us as a couple.

The team at Oad Street made every effort to accommodate us in every way to make it the most special and personal day for us. They were always so quick to respond to any requests and worked with us closely, making communication simple, easy and most importantly – stress free.

We’ve had so many comments about what an amazing time people had on our wedding day, the décor was breath taking for everyone and people are still talking about how much they enjoyed themselves!

We had the most amazing day, that we will cherish forever and now get to visit our beautiful wedding venue for breakfasts and lunches all year round!’

‘We held our wedding reception at Oad street & wow it was the best decision we made!!

We contacted oad street at quite short notice having been messed around by our previous venue, I dealt with a lady called Summer who was amazing from start to finish, I told her our vision & she was on the ball from the minute we booked this, the place is stunning, classy & just perfect for any event, we had the grazing table as food for everyone, I wanted to add some extras in which wasn’t a problem at all, I also had to cater for gluten free which they also done & it was amazing! Everyone commented that the buffet was the best they had ever had, everything was so clean & fresh, one thing that we will be forever grateful for is that we had booked the venue from 4.30-11.30, our ceremony ended up only taking 20 minutes so we actually arrived at the venue at 3 o clock & although they wasn’t ready for us ( the girls was cleaning the windows & making sure every detail was perfect ) they still let us in the private bar for drinks which was an absolute life saver, I cannot recommend this venue enough, they go above & beyond to make your event perfect.

'We got married in Las Vegas just us two and came home to have the most amazing party with our family and friends at Oad St.

I cannot explain how long we were looking for a venue that had all the beauty of a wedding venue but was flexible to hold just a reception. But when we found Oad St we knew we had found the perfect venue.

The whole planning journey was great, Summer was always thinking what we were thinking and often answered our questions before we even asked. The venue is absolutely stunning and the layout was perfect, no one felt excluded from the party even if they wanted to sit down.

Oad St went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect evening and the party exceeded our expectations. We had asked for specific drinks to be available on the night and there were no problems with that at all, the bar was fully staffed and the girls were all so lovely, no one was waiting around for drinks. All of the food was ready and laid out beautifully for when guests arrived and everybody loved it! Not your typical party food, much more sophisticated but still perfect finger food.

Our guests kept telling us on the night and the days afterwards that they had the best time, how stunning the venue was and how much they loved the food! We couldn't of asked for anything more, and it was the perfect way for us to be able to celebrate our marriage with our loved ones.
